Self-Directed Training - On-line tutorial courses are available at The Working Centre. Participants follow step-by-step interactive instruction in how to use the program they want to learn about. There are more than 100 courses to choose from, including Computer Basics, MS Word 2000, and MS Excel 2000. Individuals can sign up for two sessions (3 hrs each) per week. ($10/month). Sign-ups are on-going.
Waterloo Regional LibraryCourses includes sessions for novice users of the Internet, word processing and web design. Each course consists of three two-hour sessions over three weeks.
