March Break Cyber Camps
ConnectKW will be hosting Cyber Camps for kids over the March break at various community centres across Kitchener-Waterloo.
The Cyber Camps are free 3-day interactive workshops focusing on the basics of using digital cameras. Kids will learn to use cameras and software to create a take-home community detective booklet.

Seniors Technology Training
ConnectKW will be hosting a free series of workshops aimed at seniors. These workshops will cover technologies to aid seniors in leading independent and comfortable lives.
Sessions are:
* Blood Pressure Monitors - February 26, 2009 1pm – 3pm
* Personal Emergency Response Systems - March 5, 2009 9-11am
* Answering Machine, Voice Mail, Caller ID - March 12, 2009 9 – 11am
* Cell Phones - March 13, 2009 9 – 11am

One-to-One Technology Support
ConnectKW provides One-to-One Technology Support at various community sites across Kitchener-Waterloo. These informal support sessions are broadly designed to provide guidance and coaching to new computer users. Topics can include:
- Basic internet
- Using social networking sites
- Setting up & using e-mail
- Using Microsoft Office programs
- On-line safety & security
This initiative is one of many aimed at increasing computer literacy in our region through the ConnectKW program.
