About ConnectKW
The ConnectKW Project is an initiative funded by the Government of Canada through Industry Canada's Urban Community Access Program (CAP). Our goal is to improve Kitchener-Waterloo's access to the Internet, making services available free to all residents but especially groups such as Aboriginals, youth, seniors, new Canadians, persons with disabilities, the unemployed and working poor, people with low literacy levels and individuals suffering from serious diseases.
ConnectKW is the network of community Internet access sites throughout Kitchener-Waterloo operated by a group of committed organizations. On these pages, you will learn more details about the initiative, its goals, and its backers.
A list of other CAP projects can be found here.
