Festival of Neighbourhoods Registration SHORT

FON LogoHI All, we have moved our website to a new location!

www.festivalofneighbourhoods.ca

and our new registration form lives there!

This is for those really curious, what the registration form used to look like :)

Please complete this form with as much detail as possible so we can determine award eligibility. Additional information such as flyers or photos of your gathering are welcome and can be sent by email to entries@festivalofneighbourhoods.ca

To qualify for awards, including the neighbourhood improvement grant, every season your gatherings must have taken place between October 1 and September 30 and the completed registration form received by October 5th at midnight!

Eligible activities are those that:
• Tell us which streets, homes or boundaries make up the invited neighbourhood (the area of houses/units/apartments that were invited to gather)
• Are open, welcoming and advertised to everyone in the invited neighbourhood area, regardless of age, gender, ethnocultural background, ability, economic status, etc.
• Bring neighbours together face-to-face for opportunities to get to know each other

Personal information, such as name and address of contacts, will be used solely for the purposes of administration and will not be released to any other party. General information and photos from the gathering may be used for promotion.

Get in touch with Aleksandra Petrovic at 519-579-3800 if you need further assistance.

Note: Information cannot be saved in this form. It must be completed and submitted in one session.

If you invited your apartment building, condominium, or townhouse complex, please give us the name and address. Your neighbourhood can be big or small. It is up to you!

You can use a name that helps us know where your neighbourhood is.

e.g. meet and greet, games night, community clean-up, street party, neighbourhood walk.

:
:

e.g. choice of time for the gathering, choice of an accessible location, promotion and invitations, welcoming and inclusive activities at the gathering and neighbours’ involvement in the planning and organizing of the gathering.

What have you observed during the gathering? Have things happened afterwards because of your gathering(s)?
