Groups attacking homeless

Calgary Herald: "The level of overnight violence around the Calgary Drop-In Centre has increased significantly in the past two weeks since the homeless shelter had to release 200 people into the streets. Violent incidents have occurred almost every night. There have been two knifings and severe beatings, typically caused by predatory bands of thugs who prey upon the homeless sleeping in the streets and parks."
