Partners Summary
Over the past year, community leaders from across central west Ontario participated in four community soundings to explore community interest in population health initiatives using a social and economic inclusion framework. These community leaders form the community learning partner group and will be encouraged to provide information and direction for project activities.
Three Social Planning Councils, with their capacity for central coordination have formed a collaborative effort to provide leadership for the project. The Social Planning Council of Kitchener-Waterloo, the Social Planning Council of Cambridge and North Dumfries, the Brant Community Social Planning Council, together with the community learning partners will continue work started in the first phase of this initiative.
