Purpose
The Social and Economic Inclusion Initiative aims to respond to concerns about isolation and community disconnectedness experienced by youth and seniors in urban and rural communities. The Project process will engage youth, seniors, and community leaders in Waterloo Region, Brant County, and Elgin County to further understand barriers to inclusion. The knowledge gained will be used to develop tools, and action planning strategies to inspire local action and support continued action.
This site promotes the sharing of knowledge, tools and strategies gained through the project among community partners, and others who are interested in learning more about promoting inclusion in their communities. This site promotes bridging across communities of Central West Ontario to share expertise and learning about social and economic inclusion issues.
