Volunteer Opportunities

Our most vibrant projects have been powered up by associates and contributions, the inspired and generous community members. You can be one of them.

Do you want to gain skills that will enable you to return to work? Do you have some extra time that you would like to use in a way that will benefit many? Are you currently studying and have a burning desire to put your knowledge and passion to work? We have a variety of opportunities that may be of interest to you.

Some of the areas where you could assist us are:

  • Data management and information retrieval systems
  • Facilitation of the work of groups with lived experience, such as Disabilities and Human Rights, Poverty Free K-W, Awareness of Low Income Voices, Renters Educating and Networking Together
  • Neighbourhood Connection and Festival of Neighbourhoods outreach
  • Community forums and public events
  • Development of strategic projects such as the Civic Hub
  • Board of Directors

Orientation and ongoing support are provided. If you have a day or two in your week to spare, call 519-579-3800 or send us an email: admin@waterlooregion.org.
