Do you wish to gain skills that will enable you to return to work? Do you have some extra time you'd like to use in a way that'll benefit many? Are you currently a student with a burning desire to put your knowledge and passion to work? We have a variety of opportunities that may be of interest to you. 

Some of the areas where you could assist as a volunteer:

• Data management and IT upgrades 
• Facilitating the work of groups with lived experience, such as Disabilities and Human Rights and Awareness of Low Income Voices. See more at civichubwr.org/partners. 
• Outreach to support neighbourhood connections and Kitchener's Festival of Neighbourhoods
• Organize community forums and public events
• Development of strategic projects through connections and creativity
• Join our Board of Directors

Volunteer application process and onboarding :

1. If you'd like to contribute some of your time to assist with our programs and initiatives, please click here to fill out our Volunteer Intake Form. 
2. Once we receive your completed form, we'll review it at the earliest opportunity and set up a Zoom call to discuss your availability and interests.
3. If a suitable volunteer opportunity is found, we'll follow up with you to determine next steps. Orientation and ongoing support is provided to all volunteers.
